The organisation has strong local links and constituent members are both cultural and commercial leaders within Iraq, whose experience and roots can be traced back to the nineteen hundreds. Iraqi partners pioneered the import and distribution of consumer goods nationally in Iraq, and have a history of trade relations with Europe.
Previous works include commercial land and property development in the Hawadi area in the village of Al Karada Al Sharqia. Today the area is well established as a prosperous commercial hub. In terms of residential works, members have undertaken substantial building contracts for army personnel accommodation in Jololaa, just north of Baghdad.
Beyond trade experience our Iraqi associates have experience working with central government: in the armed forces; as members of the judiciary- as principle judges in the provinces and in the high courts in Baghdad; as well as within the ministry of planning and statistics in Baghdad.
Although recent years have seen economic growth and improved infrastructure it is our aim to continue working with local communities and businesses to seek new opportunities to promote trade and relations between the UK and Iraq.
